Promotion of Live Music Events And Other Musical Endeavors

Coverage of the entire process of promotion of shows, live music events and musical projects, specially addressed to band leaders, music managers, producers of live music events and booking agents.The class will be structured around workshops based on Prezi presentations, combined with interactive exercises individually and in groups and complemented with homework and quizzes. Developing all the materials needed to promote your live music show, project or event promotion plan including online and offline strategies,prospective budget, supporting documents including the preparation of a press release and a press package, required material resources, human resources, risk prevention and evaluation.All the materials will be provided by the instructor at the beginning of the course, and all the additional platforms required to complete the course can be accessed for free. The students will be asked to prepare all the promotional materials covered in class, applied to an specific project selected by the student, to be submitted for revision, in addition to answering weekly quizzes to reinforce the concepts covered in class.
