THE PRIMARY TRIADS

Bio: Kumar is a music educator working with FSM since 2018. He likes finding logic and patterns everywhere and music is full of them. It is like a puzzle waiting to be solved. A beautiful mystery. Though he grew up listening to rock n roll and adoring it, He eventually fell in love with classical music in roll and adoring it.

Intro: In the Workshop we will be talking about a simple topic involving chords, more specifically primary triads. Just like primary colors, they are basic. Just as all colors come from mixing primary colors, the same goes for chords. Today we try to unravel the mystery of these 3 simple but very important chords.

3. Why are they important?
4. How do we find them?
5. How do we use them in different scales and songs?
6. How do they contribute to any chord progression of a song?
