Bought a hard case for my electric guitar and also got the guitar string changed. The staff who attended did a superb job all through, I was thoroughly satisfied for what I went for.

We had 2 demo classes for 2 potential students with a teacher who was extremely uptight and, frankly, made us feel uncomfortable and inadequate throughout the session. We are beginners—that is precisely why we are looking for classes in the first place. Instead of creating an encouraging environment for people who are just starting out, the teacher repeatedly quizzed us, commented negatively on our technique, and went on at length about his own skills. He even made us feel foolish for simply enjoying Mozart. There is absolutely nothing wrong with correcting students, but there is a respectful and constructive way to do it. What made the experience even more frustrating was that, after all of this, we were told that the teacher didn't actually have any slots available. If there was no availability, why conduct a demo in the first place? The coordination was poor as well. We had to follow up multiple times just to get the demo scheduled. But the most concerning part came afterward. We gave very mild and reasonable feedback, simply saying that “the attitude of the teacher wasn't ideal.” Instead of acknowledging the feedback professionally, the teacher from the organisation called us and proceeded to trash-talk us on the phone. That is completely unacceptable. Basic respect should be a given when dealing with customers. We are paying for a service; the organisation is not doing us a favour. There are plenty of teachers and music schools available, and having expertise does not give anyone the right to belittle prospective students or speak disrespectfully to customers. A good teacher should make beginners feel comfortable enough to learn, not make them feel stupid for being beginners. And a professional organisation should be able to receive mild criticism without attacking the customer. Extremely poor experience. I would not recommend this organisation.
