GUITAR CLASSES & CENTERS IN MUMBAI

I had a wonderful experience at Furtados School of Music! The teachers are knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive, making learning music enjoyable and engaging. The centre has a positive learning environment, and students get great opportunities to improve their musical skills and build confidence. Highly recommend Furtados School of Music to anyone looking to learn music professionally! 🎹🎸🎶

I would like to sincerely thank Ms. NAHIDA for her outstanding support. She has helped me twice, and on both occasions she handled my concerns with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Thanks to her dedication, my issues were resolved smoothly. She kept me informed throughout the process and made a stressful situation much easier I truly believe that people like NAHIDA make an organization special. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and unwavering support. I am deeply grateful for her kindness and exceptional customer service. Thank you once again!

We are incredibly happy with his progress in piano class. He always looks forward to his lessons, and we’ve noticed a real improvement in his ability to read sheet music and some times playing with two hands. It has been wonderful to see his interests growing in music because of this class. I was really hoping if there was a recital every 6months so that he was looking forward for some performance. Thank you for your patience and for making the classes so engaging for him. We look forward to seeing him continue to grow musically under your guidance.

This is the second time I’ve visited during the published business hours, and the music school has been closed both times. The timings displayed on Google do not seem to be accurate. I also tried calling the contact number provided, but nobody answered. This lack of communication and incorrect operating hours made for a disappointing experience. I hope the management updates their information and improves responsiveness to avoid inconveniencing potential students and parents.

My son is happily learning keyboard at FSM Lakeshore . The teachers and support staff are really talented and supportive. It is a lovely place to learn and pursue your musical passion.

All performances was outstanding ..It was great forum to showcase the talent. ..99% performances are western and there are few senior citizen audience present could not get connected with performances ..we should suggest that event should be combination of western music as well as bollywood so that it should be entertaining for age group.

My daughter learns how to play the guitar at Furtados. The teaching staff is fabulous and also flexible with a child’s schedule. I highly recommend the Furtados school

Furtados has done an excellent job! Events like these give kids the right exposure and help them overcome one of the biggest fears—performing on stage. Teachers like Denim Sir are truly inspiring. As Tanuja Ma’am (Founder of Furtados) rightly mentioned, music should be an integral part of a child’s life, especially at a young age. It plays a big role in boosting confidence, shaping personality, and helping them grow into better human beings—while also connecting them to something truly divine. A big thank you to the entire organising team—especially Kruti, whom I know—for putting together such a wonderful event. In fact, we’ve become a bit greedy now—we’d love to see these events happening even more frequently! 😄

FSM Powai is a wonderful place for learning different musical instruments and vocals. The centre manager Kruti and the teachers Deepak Sir and Prutha Ma'am have been providing excellent coaching. FSM also gives opportunity to its student's to perform on big stage like events, NCPA and happening places like restaurants supporting live music giving them real life experience. Special mention of centre manager who manages the centre effectively. Thanks FSM PowaiTeam!

Wonderful experience at Furtados School of Music, Chembur! My daughter Samaira absolutely loves her classes. Her teacher Akanksha ma'am bonds so well with her and makes learning fun and encouraging. The centre manager Sonali is very helpful and always keeps us updated, and Bhagwan is so warm and friendly with the kids. Clean, safe and positive environment. Highly recommended for young learners!

My child has been coming to furtdos Chembur since 13 yrs on & off (due to studies) My reason to keep coming to Chembur branch is solely Sonali .She holds the branch together. She is always available for all my doubts. She always answers my calls . She is the one who persuades me to join bk Furtados Chembur few yrs bk . I have seen this branch with loads of teachers moving out .She is the one who stayed back . Thank you Sonali for all your help

Very good place to learn music. Right from toddlers to Sixty year olds. Very courteous staff, patient teachers. Sonali Gupta is always there with a smile to help you around. Akansha is very hands-on and is a very kind teacher. The difference between Furtados and other acadamies, I feel is the level of comfort and confidence the students have in that environment.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m really enjoying my experience learning piano at this music school! The environment is warm, welcoming, and positive, making every class enjoyable and motivating. A special mention to **Vidushi ma’am**, who is a wonderful instructor, patient, supportive, and encouraging. She makes learning piano a pleasant experience and helps build confidence with every lesson. The center manager Ms Sushma is also very friendly, helpful, and approachable, ensuring everything runs smoothly and creating a lovely atmosphere for students. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to learn music, explore your passion, and grow your skills in a comfortable and encouraging environment. I’m happy to be learning here and would definitely recommend this music school to anyone looking to learn piano or pursue their love for music! 🎹🎶

Our daughter is learning Piano at Furtados seawoods centre. We are extremely happy with her development. Regular feedback, personalized attention and disciplined yet enjoyable teaching approach (by Noel sir) makes the learning experience different. FSM is best Music School in India

I had gone to the Furtados music store in Juhu about three weeks ago to get one of my electric guitars serviced. The strings needed to be changed and the action was uneven on some of the strings, which needed to be fixed. The guitar technician (I think his name is John) there changed the strings for me and said that he fixed the action but when I checked it, the b string was still buzzing and getting muted on fast bends. For anyone who plays the guitar seriously, you know what I’m referring to. However, he denied it and said it was working fine. So I don’t waste much time arguing just left. I managed to get the problem fixed later on my own. He also did not know how to fix my tremolo arm. When I asked him to install the tremolo he said that it was the wrong one. This was not the case at all (later I went back and realised that the bridge needed to be opened, as it was fixed. It had to be converted into a floating bridge for the whammy to work). The tremolo arm was absolutely the correct one. Along with his technical incompetence, his attitude was seemed or be very dismissive and indifferent. What a horrible experience. I’ve been a guitar student at Furtados and have learnt guitar for several years from wonderful guitar teachers (Abhishek Shah & Diwas Rai). I did not expect this at all, it was very different from the experience that I had with Furtados during the 2011 to 2016 era. The other staff at the Juhu store also seemed completely uninterested and uninformed about guitars and had the same indifferent attitude. A severe lack of professionalism.

• Good selection of legacy & top-tier brands. • Well informed staff about the guitars on display and which type of guitar will be suitable based on customer's needs or guitar goals. • Staff is always available within reach when needed yet gives you space to explore and experiment with the instruments to find the right 'fit' for you. • Staff on duty gave good demonstration of the guitars and their sound (acoustic and when plugged into amp) - showed that they are not just a face and understand the musician's needs and questions. • Staff is polite, patient and honest in their approach and suggestions at this store.

I told them I am a beginner, so they sold me a nice Fender squire and an amp.. but forgot to mention that I will need an audio cable separately. When I got the guitar home, the first string had a buzz when the first fret is played. So I went back to get it fixed, they fixed it and gave the guitar a very high action. I told the guy about the action and he said, this is pretty good.. I trusted him because I am a beginner. After suffering the guitar for almost a month, my friend told me to take it to Alberto in Malad... and they fixed the action. It plays like butter now! For a beginner, I won't recommend Furtados since the guitar guys there are Pros selling to Pros... for the rest mere mortals like me, go figure.

The teacher is fabulous but I seem to have a problem with your backend team. I have been requesting Darryl since 18th July to have my daughters name changed. It is an error done by her as I have typed and given the information. And even as of Sept 23rd its not corrected. Can someone please assist.
